It's about time this was released in the USA. I've been waiting for it for years, at least it feels that way.
I was tempted to drive to Canada just to buy it.

Love it but not enough in USA.

I am a huge fan of Emerson Drive and have been since the first concert I was lucky enough to see in 2003. I love this album, I love the old and new songs, however I am looking for more. I want Decade of Drive, specifically the NEW songs such as "Let Your Love Speak" released in the USA. Loving Emerson, tired of waiting.

Nice Effort by the Hardest Working Band in Country

Emerson Drive has never really gotten the respect and accolades they deserve. They've found themselves immersed in label troubles and music industry politics that have always gone aagainst them. Despite that, they continue to go out and put on a "balls out" performance night after night. They are at their best live, and I highly recommend everyone buy aa ticket to see for themselves.

For Believe, which was releaased in 2009 in Canada, the cd has a nice mix of up tempo and ballads. The band members played all their own instruments in the studio, and they took the reigns in writing and producing some of the tracks. The result is a great cd. Two of the songs were not available on the Canadian release -- There's My God and Clean. Both are ballads that go farther serious than Moments. For me, that makes them two of the weakest tracks on the CD.

My first advice is to download the entire CD. But this is the 21st century so I iknow the likelihood of that happening is slim. So I'll give you my choices for must have as well as the ones to skip if money is tight.

The Best of the CD:
I Love This Road (co-written by lead singer Brad Mates)
That Kind of Beautiful
That Was Us
Too Much (co-written by Mates and guitarist Danick Dupelle)

Great songs but second tier compared to the above:
Livin It Up
The Extra Mile (a song they performed at the Les Paul tribute)
Life Down Here
There's My God
Believe (fun song but meh production with the repetitive Go On Give It A Try)

If Money Is Tight, Skip
Your Last
Belongs To You

Now of course this is all subjective. I personally am not a fan of ballads so what I would skip is almost always a ballad. Of the 4 ballads, There's My God is the best, but I'm just trying to give you all an honest review. I will also add that the thing that makes the ballads more likable is the flawless piano of CCMA All Star Band member Dale Wallace. It's really stunning.

I am a die-hard fan of this band, and I own everything they've ever put out. As with any artist, some of it is better than others. Despite that, I can say that every song is a showcase of the band's talent and true artistry.

With that I give the cd 5 stars. They have more talent in their little fingers than a lot of successful artists have in their whole bodies. I give the Believe cd a solid A- on content and an A+ on artistry.

Give them a listen. You won't be sorry!
