One of the Best New Albums of 2010

(Album Review - Kurt Fellows - Music Magazine)

The Northwest Sons debut album will have you thinking about Pepper, Slightly Stoopid or Rebelution... but not for long. It's their distinct Pacific Northwest Vibe that sets this Seattle band apart from the rest of the pack.

Combining tight songs, soaring vocals, and undeniably danceable beats, the Northwest Sons have created a debut album that will have you up out of your seat, swimming in the sound. From the upbeat title track "Boundary Line" to the haunting "Mystifier", the Northwest Sons have crafted the perfect musical wave. All you have to do is ride it into the shore. - Music Magazine

An amazing find

Wow i can't remember the last band i heard as unique as these guys. You can make the case they take a bit of Pepper, a bit of Stoopid, maybe some Sublime on the vocals but actually i think it's their uniqueness that makes it difficult to pinpoint. wonderfully laid back tracks truely indicitive of that west coast reggae vibe but the lyrics are provacative and the vocals are powerful and edgy at times reminiscent of Brad Nowell (not that i'm comparing!). Paradise, Life of Fools, Boundary Line, Take me back...ah hell, the whole thing, every track...perfect.

The best Reggae band to come out of Seattle
