In the intimate setting of a sympathetic trio, Sarah Vaughan proves why she-along with Ella, Billie, and Dinah-ranks among the top jazz ladybirds. Her reading of "Shulie A Bop" contains some of her finest scatting on record. Her "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" paints a picture with a lushness that rivals Monet.
