iTunes Review

As a child, Sophie Frances Cooke learned the piano by studying Coldplay songbooks. It’s easy to discern that education in the yearning hooks of “Cloud 9” and swelling emotional charge of ballad “Don’t Worry About Me.” Her seductive melodies and expressive vocals are adaptable throughout, and she’s equally assured on the limber R&B of “No Matter” and the gorgeous, slow-drip electronica of “When It Comes to Us.”
