Album Review

With remarkable technical facility, tremendous feel, and a playful sense of musical progression, Liz Story proves a moving and fascinating pianist on her debut album. Intuitive yet intellectual, Story nevertheless has a strong sense of structure, and her quick, light playing always keeps things moving.

I've actually had this on vinyl for 25 years and still love it.

Somewhere in my mess of boxes from moving over the years I have the original cassette of this music. It was Liz Story among others who encouraged me to finally study the piano at the age of 33. This CD is awesome with great music, great sound and a sweet haunting tone throughout. I love all of the pieces here but particularly 'Bradley's Dream'. Liz Story's piano playing is sweet, precious, infectious and touching, she has a way of playing the piano with a distinctive sound in her music, that you always know when you are listening to a piano piece by the gorgeous and talented Liz Story.
