Amazingly Brilliant & Convicting!!!

(first tho, iTunes, please notice that the first song is listed as "All is Grace," but when downloaded it comes out as "I've got You." Please correct this.)
I don't know if i've ever bought a Shaun Groves song before today; i've probably heard some of his songs on Christian radio. But, i recently finished reading Ann Voskamp's book "One Thousand Gifts- A dare to live fully right where you are," and this was part of the inspiration for Shaun's album. The two of them have been friends for years, and both do mission trips to 3rd World countries. The songs on this album are full of biblical truth, practically lived out, and full obedience to the call of Jesus. "Kingdom Coming," "No Better," "Down Here" and "All is Grace" (which i saw a video of on Ann's blog site) are my favorites so far.

Everything an Album Should Be

I am so excited about the official release of Third World Symphony. It has all the components of what makes (in my mind) a good album. Eclectic instruments, thought provoking lyrics, spirit awakening melodies and a call to responsibility.
It is so refreshing to hear vulnerable artistry that isn't trying to fit in a mainstream box. Thanks for the honesty.

Shaun Groves [Third World Symphony]

Shaun had me at "Welcome Home," and this album is an amazing return from one of my first loves in Christian music. Shaun has always had a knack for hitting me where I am spiritually and expressing the prayerful yearnings of my heart. This album is no exception as I get welled up praying along with several of the songs, and most of all I'm stirred up with Compassion to love people as Jesus loves us. This album grabs me with every song, is the best overall album by Shaun Groves, and is one of the top albums of the year.
