good throaty hardcore

A good, throaty hardcore CD can be hard to find. All too often throaty translates into tough guy hardcore. Killing the Dream goes beyond the stereotype of screaming thugs and chuggy guitars. Their brash and abrasive sound is quite modern. The frenetic delivery is exhilarating. This gives the entire CD an edge of your seat feel. Be warned, you wont find any generic double bass, blastbeats or breakdowns. Fractures is a well crafted CD. In a world of hybrid metalcore followers this is a hardcore leader.

Killing The Dream's latest effort "Fractures" is a great album. This band is one of my favorite bands ever and being from sacramento myself i have seen these guys grow since i saw them for the first time live in 2004. This album shows a lot of maturity. There are a lot of melodic almosr poppy guitar riffs in a couple of the songs which i didny expect from them but i love it. If you like their self titled album and in place, apart you will definently love this album. But if you like repetitive bland hardcore where every song sounds the same you might like it. There is not another hardcore band out there today that has the same sound as these guys they are in a league of their own BUY THIS!!!

Still Good

I think this is not the best from Killing the Dream but its still really good.
