new addition?

even with the new addition of their recent guitarist. you would never know it, they follow up perfectly to their first release. three is defiently become a fafvorite of mine just as their first was and is still a great mixture of heavy and experimental. Numbers have found their niche and will continue to listen to their music for many years to come. this album is worth every penny, listeners will not be dissapointed.

Knowing your own sound

Numbers are the perfect mix of heavy, on the one hand, and upbeat, on the other. Crushing, groovy riff followed up by mesmerizing synths and pianos. They know their sound and they push its capabilities as far as possible. A perfect step up from their previous EP.

Holy hell...

Discovered these guys about an hour ago. Listened through this album once all the way through and it was one of the most mind-blowing things I've ever experienced. Mad drumming. Sick groovy riffs and hardcore blastbeats blended eloquently with angelic synths and beautiful piano playing. Out of this world vocals (go to the 2:18 mark in "Recreate" for a taste of the incredible screaming) and intriguing lyrics. Masterful bass and guitar playing. What more could I want? It's innovative, captivating, untiring, soulful, brutal…I officially know what album others will have to compete with for album of the year as 2014 progresses. Congrats on the achievement, Numbers.

The group's debut, Numbers Life, released on Tigerbeat6 in June of 2002, presents a band that's directly descended from Gang of Four and most closely related...
