Customer Reviews

I was a little worried when Sandager left the band. Metamorphosis came out, and while it had several good songs (The Follower, Velvet Lies among others) I felt it was a bit weak compared to the rest of the Mercenary catalog. With greats like 11 Dreams and Hours That Remain, it had a lot to live up to, and quite frankly, it didn't. Then comes 2013 and the new album Through Our Darkest Days. And talk about ear candy! Spectacular album, perfect balance of the screams, growls, and clean vocal melodies that have long been the staple of the band. It's not too often that I hear an album that is good beginning to end, that you can listen to straight through, with every song being good. But this album is just that. Mercenary is back and as good as ever. Just give the title track a listen, and if you like that song, you'll love the rest of the album. It's that good.

They done it again! Another great album by Mercenary

I have been waiting for this album ever since they announce it and I must say that these guys never disappoint! Their albums keep getting better and better each year but if you are new to this band I would sugguest getting 11 Dreams and all their other previous albums as well as this one. I also like to say that they did a fantastic job on the album cover as well.

This was followed two years later by the more mature Everblack, which found Kral, vocalist...
