A Must Buy

iGod weaves a flawless and captivating tapestry of ambient gems that must not be overlooked. Paying homage to early Orb, FSOL and AFX, iGod offers an unforgettable collection of forgettable sonic vignettes that are new and refreshing even on the tenth listen. A must buy for lovers of ambient, weird, soundscapey, minimal Detroit-style techno. iGod also gets kudos for bucking the iTunes system by offering 36 tracks for $9.99, rendering meaningless the $.99 price of each individual song. Good music, good fun. iGod is my god, now.

wait right here and you will soon be in the future...

Wow. I remember the first time I ever heard Brian Eno in the 70s, and hearing these guys is like the first time of expiriencing a great thing...all over again. It all sounds just as exciting and fresh as he did then. Can lightning strike twice? Listen and see. Absolutely subversive!

I'm glad to see iGod has a sense of humor. I like the song that takes a swipe at Kid Kash, the knucklehead who gave Fire in The Hole 1 star. I'm also glad to give this album 4, right up the ambient/mixture alley that is so lacking around here. Would have liked to see some more distance in the songs but otherwise well played.
