The DeLeo's shine

One of the most underrated albums of all time.

The 12th song on the album is clearly Seven Caged Tigers and not Seven Chaged Tigers...
And it is one of their best songs that they have released so far.

People should take the time to listen to an album, without expectations

I think if people approached this album (in '96 and in '10) without any preconceived notions, they would see how great it really is. I really feel that this album pushed STP into creating their own individual iconic sound that defined albums like No.4 and Shangri-La-De-Da. I for one, love STP's first two albums, but they are honestly just serving to cater to the sound of the times -- grunge rock. STP really comes into their own on Tiny Music, and for that reason, they are charged with much criticism. The songs on Tiny Music are well crafted, and Scott's lyrics are tremendously moving. He is clearly a man who is cataloguing his losing battle with drug addiction, broken relationships, and an industry that cares not for his personal well-being. I truly feel that the latest STP release is more in the vein of this record and Shangri-La, than any of the other albums. I can't find a bad cut on this record. My advice to those interested in STP -- this may be their finest release, in addition to Purple and No.4!
