Ready to go thermonuclear!

These genuine warriors brand themselves as post-war hard core. Indeed "Sleeping Mind", "Shout Some Loud", "Blackened", and "Broken Down and Dead" crush the richter scale. Then the band shows another side with "Inanimate Objects" a haunting piece which could have been penned by Jim Morrison and "Nightmare Movement" which careens like a Tim Burton film. "Bless Me" sexually taunts like the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith in their provocative prime. The lead vocalist / lead guitarist chemistry that characterizes the best bands in rock history, shines in this particular track as well. This glimmer twin factor is also bound by blood as Tim and Dan are brothers. But wait, there's more! The remaining tracks reveal the warrior's soul (these guys are Marines). In the heat of battle, getting the mission done and taking care of your battle buddies is what matters. The paradox of war sonically presents itself from a perspective directly under the Kevlar combat helmet. By comparison, Queensryche's "American Soldier" gets a tip of the hat, but the sentiment therein sometimes falls short as Queensryche has never seen combat action. Here "ACS" is a fugued masterwork underscored by historical snippets. American Hitmen display a versatility and volatility for the masses. Radio-ready vocals, soncially rich jackhammer guitars, tasty rhythm section... The Hitmen have hit the beach! Atten-hut!

Perfect debut album...

Great, diverse rock from a band that still believes in quality of music, rather than catering to the bubble-gum Pop world with a short attention span. Definitely recommend!!

Thanks for rock

I live in Vietnam and I saw these guys play at the opening of the new Hard Rock Cafe in Saigon. They really put on a great show! Thanks to the American Hitmen for bringing some much needed Rock to Saigon!
