Rangda's third album kicks off with “To Melt the Moon,” a taste of Turkish-flavored surf rock in taut 10/4 time. The rest of this all-instrumental excursion—including a lest-we-forget bolero dedicated to Spiro Agnew and a climactic, 20-minute structured improvisation titled “Mondays Are Free At the Hermetic Museum"—is no less exotic, or thrilling.
