an instant classic

this is one of the greatest albums of all time. lauryn hill has one of music's greatest voices and she is an incredible writer. everyone should have this album in their collection. this album is a part of musical history. just incredible!!!

Still a favorite.

I bought this cd way back in '98, and it's still one of my favorties. It never gets to leave my stereo.

The Realness of this album...

You have to listen closely to the lyrics of this album. Lauryn speaks the truth and you can tell that she doesnt care about commercial success. This is a classic album: Neo Soul and Hiphop entwine throughout the whole album. Forgive them Father, Doo Wop, I Used to Love Him, Nothing Even Matters, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You, and Tell Him: testify to this.
