Complete ALBUM!!!!

What more can I really say? Just press play and let it play. It's unfortunate that this artist is unsigned because it may never get the hype it deserves. I'm not the type to hand out compliments so easily so obviously this album REALLY impressed me. I definitely didn't expect to hear what I heard after a friend talked me into listening.

First, "VICTIM" - the 1st track already catches you with it's story line. I felt like I could see the video to this track as I listened to it. "I've Got My Girl" was a surprise as was the next track "Don't Know Where You Came From". THAT one could be a wedding song.

I was kinda skeptical about the the title track - Tokyo Lover - because I guess I was judging it by the title. Yea that was a mistake. Another powerful story and the harmonies match perfectly.

"Overtime" - a much more clever way to talk about sex than I've heard recently. Not every sexual song has to be tacky and this song proves it. Very sexy but also very classy.

"Steal Your Heart" - Beautiful chorus and lyrics. Very well arranged and probably the most soulful sounding songs of the album.

"Let Me In Your Heart" - Surprised to hear the falsetto vocals on this one. The chorus is AMAZING! Lyrically it doesn't have much substance but it doesn't need to.

"Crush" - Interesting choice. Has kind of a laid-back hip/hop-ish feel but still very melodic. Very catchy. Both features NAILED IT. This one is a sneaky favorite.

"Forever Be Mine" - Didn't expect to hear the female vocal at the end. Lyrically, this one is definitely sweet.

"I'm Yours" - Now THIS is how you end an RnB album. With a big, emotional ballad. One of the lyrics: "When we were apart, it felt like my life was gone / but then you followed my tears and you found your way back him" - definitely nothing cheap about the lyrics unlike the current wave of RnB I've been hearing recently.

I could've talked about more songs on this joint but 15 is too many to write details on…lol. Definitely buy the whole thing!

R&B is back !

I love this entire album.
Great comeback for real music. Great job!

Best R&B in a long time

This CD is AMAZING!!!! it is the epitome of true R&B. It has a little Old school with some new school flare which is perfect for any R&B lover!! My favorite song is Don't Know Where You Came From. The words are so beautiful and it will make you fall in love with R&B and your partner all over again. A+++++++++ rating from me. Do not let this one slip through the cracks you will truly regret it!!!
