A poor substitute

The songs lose too much without Tom Lehrer's grating, ironic voice behind them. The voices here are too trained and too smooth, the rhythms too even. There's nothing lively, nothing corny, nothing biting. Go for the original--- if you can find it.

not the same

The original tom lehrer is amazing, especially "that was the year that was". This doesn't compare at all to him. They have cds for sale of him, just get those instead.
