a gem

I used to listen to these songs on cassette tape in my mom's car when I was really young. Each song is different and moving in its own way, if you can get past some of the animal and tribal sound effects. I still enjoy this album. His music might take some getting used to, but if you like instrumental music that is unusual, you might give him a try. "Full Circle" is chilling and memorable.

Winter first came to public prominence in 1961 as the winner of a collegiate jazz festival held at Notre Dame University; one of that event's judges, John Hammond, subsequently signed the group to a Columbia recording contract.
