Different, but awesome.

Unlike 99% of all the other post-rock bands, Mogwai keep on doing new things, keep re-defining themselves. And yet, they still sound like Mogwai. The tracks on this album have a totally different feel than their last album Mr. Beast, but you can tell its still the same band that created Young Team and all of their other classics. Instant awesome!

I have liked past Mogwai records, although not all of them. This one is kind of boring. Most of the songs are super repetitive and lack purpose..just kind of going through the motions. Perhaps if this record were produced well it would be a lot better, but it is really over compressed and quite abysmal. I think the people giving this record 5 stars would give it the same rating if Mogwai recorded themselves farting. Repetitive farting, of course.

Mogwai never sleeps

this album will never stop playing. it is amazing top to bottom.
