AllMusicGuide don't know their Alabama from their elbows

A3 produces the best country-acid-house-gospel fusion this side of... well, anybody, really. The sad sorry robots of AllMusic can't be trusted to feel the A3 energy. But you can. (Isn't AMG complaining about pretentious music a little like Rupert Murdoch lamenting the decline of the mainstream media?) In any case, buy this album—or, buy Exile on Coldharbour Lane, it's probably a little better—but for God's sake don't take the editorial review as gospel (if it's gospel you want, A3's got it, in spades). You'll never hear another band like A3. But you'll want to.

It's gunna be alright

Congratulations, i-tunes finally got the whole damn thing including the Hotel California cover. A3's new album comes out in the middle of 07 and I demand that i-tunes makes it available to the masses, since they don't seem to give a damn about making Outlaw purchasable. I don't wanna have to import anouther A3 album from England again. Not being able to get their new stuff in the states is blasphemy. These guys are the best thing to come from overseas since the Beatles, and thats no lie.

Burn a while with me

Again A3 delivers albeit a totaly re-engineered sound. What I really liked is the fact this album sounds absolutely nothing like Exile. A little darker and a little more serious in tone with glints of hope, it has a better continuous flow and has a slightly higher degree of production. I still cannot believe A3'S seamless ability to blend gospel/house/acidline into a coherent, intelligent sound. Walking in My Sleep is a well crafted dark chugger that can be the perfect cure when you are craving tracks of a more somber fare. Larry Love's interlude is probably one of his best and the break is phenomenal. The sining moment on the CD is the remix of Hotel California, I'm not really a fan of covers but when the song it totally resembled it is mindblowing. Upon initial contact you'll feel strangely familiar with the track but unable to place it until they break into the chorus. I love playing this track for people who are oblivious to A3 and watch their eyes light up when they finally catch on. Hands down one of the best covers ever, right up there with Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's "Hurt". Sinking ends the album ona seemingly hopeless narrative that pulls a 180 via an excellent break. This album is 100% great.
