iTunes Review

W.A.S.P. were put on this planet to repulse parents and deliver metal mayhem to their kids—and they achieved both straightaway. Their debut's sordid tales of sadism and Satanism had the PMRC up in arms—no surprise, the way growling mastermind Blackie Lawless aims for maximum shock value with “On Your Knees” and “The Torture Never Stops.” The music backs him up too: W.A.S.P.’s Sunset Strip polish comes bolstered by toughness and velocity imported from the cutting-edge NWOBHM scene.

Top 10

This album grabs you by the throat and never lets go! If this album isn't in your Top 10 all-time heavy metal albums then you're not a true metal head.

Raw talent, one of the best live band i ever saw Blackie Lawless rules!!!!!!!

Leader Blackie Lawless (bass/vocals) was already a rock & roll veteran when he relocated to the West Coast and founded W.A.S.P. with guitarists Chris Holmes...
