Total Eclipse

Great album recorded during the height of the jazz fusion era. Fantastic band including one of the most underrated Electric/Acoustic Bassist in Alex Blake. Check out the cut "Bandits" for an example of Alex's unique and incomparable strumming abilities on the four string electric bass. One of Cobham's best produced albums of all time.

Total Eclipse

Having been a Cobham fan for thirty years, this was his best album.John Abercrmbie's guitar work (according to him in an interview I read) was his best ever. Solarization is not offered on this CD. But it is offered on BC's Anthology CD/Rudiments If you want to experience 70's fusion at it's BEST I recommend Total Eclipse and Rudiments
