80s music at its best
if you love 80s music this soundtrack is for you. this is a great movie with a great soundtrack. i can't wait for the live action movie to come out. hopefully it is as good as the original movie. watching optimus prime get killed when i was 7 was a pivital moment of my young life.
80's Cheese at its Best!
They don't come much cheesier than the pop soundtrack for the original Transformers movie. And if that's your thing then you can't possibly pass this up. You cannot listen to Stan Bush's "The Touch" without some deep-seeded geek in you perking up to the sound of those arena-rock power chords. "Dare" pretty much treads the same ground as "The Touch", but the power chords are played in a different order and are, therefore, to be considered as a completely seperate piece of cheddar. NRG's "Instruments of Destruction" and Spectre General's "Nothin's Gonna Stand In Our Way" are like the lesser known, more generic cousins of "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock" - they'll work if the originals aren't around. And then there's Vince DiCola's 80's pop instrumental soundtrack. If you were at all young or not yet disenchanted with the world as a whole when you saw this film then "The Death of Optimus Prime" cannot help but cause you to choke back a tear. It's $10 well spent!
this is the greatest movie of all time.
