What else can you expect

If you like the Traveling WIlbury's, (and why wouldn't you like a band with so many rock legends?) you'll like volume three. I won't say it is better than one, but it is just as fun. There are some really great tunes on this album that should not go unheard.

More Rocked Up

As a newcomer to the Traveling Wilburys, I didn't find Vol. 3 a let-down as the Itunes review led me to believe. Its much more rock-y, with tunes such as "She's My Baby", "Inside Out", and "Poor House" easy to bob your head to. I would say it's on par with their first album, just in a slightly different musical direction without Orbison. Absolutely worth listening to.

The sophomore slump

Is this a good album? Sure. But nowhere near the first. Without Roy, the Wilburys sound a little generic. I enjoyed it, but the first was infinitely better. The ultimate TTW will forgive them, because even they knew that a Roy-less and later George-less TTW just wouldn't work. Good album, but a definite disappointment.
