Traditional Celtic Melodies Blended with Rock and Roll

What can I say about Claymore? William and the boys were able to capture true Celtic melodies blended with a bit of rock and roll on this album. I used to go see Claymore play every Friday night at Pugg Mahoney's in Melbourne Australia. William would get up on the bar singing and handing out Scrumpy Jack’s cider to the crowd and everyone would be dancing having a great time. Tribute is the best Celtic album I own and every time I play it, it brings back great memories. Give it a listen, it will grow on you. Claymore just released a new album entitled “Reflection.” Enjoy…

Claymore was formed in Germany by Robert Butts, the son of a Scottish soldier. Butts, a drummer, surrounded himself with a stable cast of like-minded German musicians who respected and were influenced by the traditional sounds of Scotland's Highlands.
