It's about time they made an album for all of the music on The X Files. I've been a big fan of them since 2003. (I know it's not that long considering the X Files has been going since 1993 but I was only 2 then so hush.) I liked the theme song because it was mysterious, but I REALLY loved "Mitus Lumen" which was played on one or two episodes in the 1 - 2 seasons. I loved the song so much I'd watch the episode just to listen to the song. I tried looking everywhere for X Files music albums but with no luck. So just a week or two ago I decided to look it up on iTunes one more time (because at least a year or two ago they didn't have it) and I found it, and I'm very happy. Download the theme song and Mitus Lumen if you don't know which one to get. They're the best.

Chilling and Cool (Like the Series!)

Mark Snow has truly created a brilliant album. Not only is the main theme (which has become a pop culture song) on this album, but some other great tracks, which have gone unnoticed, yet are eerie and brilliant (like the series itself!) "The X-Files" is (in my opinion) the greatest sci-fi TV series ever and the second greatest TV show (after Lost). If you're looking for humor, chills, and thrills, the series (and this album) offer all. I suggest the first season if you're looking for great and memorable episodes (although the first six seasons of the series were excellent, too). I can't wait (hopefully) for a second movie to answer some mysteries, and iTunes, if you're reading this, please, please, please put all nine seasons of "The X-Files" available for download on iTunes. I know that I'd love it, and all X-File fans would, too!

Doesnt everybody like the X-Files!

The #1 show of the 90's, The best album ever! The new movie is coming out soon!

Years Active: '90s

Mark Snow was born in Brooklyn, the son of a professional percussionist and a kindergarten teacher who had a definite love for blues piano. As a youth, Snow learned piano and drums, then fell in love with the oboe. An aficionado of Baroque and Renaissance music, Snow entered the New York Music and Art School, where he befriended composer Michael Kamen, another oboe fan, with whom he would be roommates for several years at Juilliard. Studying as broad a variety of music as possible, Snow gradually...
