The Perfect Compilation

Turn it On Again is one of the best hits album of all time. It was really my intro to Genesis (This is not the Borgii writing, it is his son), and I have loved the album ever since.


Genesis/Phil Collins...musical legends, good lyrics, great sound, talented group with a drummer who is lead vocalist? Tough to do but he pulls it off masterfully! Now this is music!

Hit and Miss

There is definitely a place for Genesis in music history - their hits at least. And this album has all their hits. But it also has a lot of filler. It's not a good sign when 70% of a greatest hits album isn't good. Phil's vocals are not to blame at all - I love his voice. He sounds like what Sting would sound like if you could understand anything he sings outside of the choruses. They just have too many boring songs. Even their hits are mostly minor. In Too Deep, Invisible Touch, and I Can't Dance are really the only true big hits going on here with about 3 other minor hits worth keeping.
