Cry Wolf Rocks Hard!

Your favorite hair band is back, with a little less hair. Black Bouquet and Dysfunctional are early favorites. Ooh, and Angel Fly. Perfect album for releasing all that tension from a bad week at work. Makes me wish I could still headbang without straining something. If you like your rock without any pop, you'll love this album. Can't wait to see them live!

Has it's bright moments

This album is hit and miss for me. In my opinion they should have included "Over and Over" from the EP on this album as it is the most "Cry Wolf" tune (as I know Cry Wolf) out of the new batch. "Shed," "Number 43" "Angel Fly" and "Dysfunctional" are my personal favorites. Steve's lead guitar playing is always strong.

On the downside some of the vocal melodies are actually really distracting to me and they take away from the songs. I've always liked Tim's voice a ton but something about some of his phrasing this time around just doesn't fit/work for me (just my opinion). I also felt the same way about a few of the harmonies.

I'm looking forward to hearing what the future of Cry Wolf brings with new vocalist Susie Major. Might want to think about a name change though? Fresh start!
