11 Songs, 35 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

After 2016’s charming Blue Cheese gained New Zealand singer/songwriter Kane Strang emphatic praise and considerable internet buzz, this second album makes good on his promising start. Two Hearts and No Brain is a set of quietly robust DIY guitar magic that oscillates between two settings: bittersweet-and-breezy summer sing-alongs (“Silence Overgrown,” “Not Quite”) and rumbling, grunge-tinged beasts (“Lagoons,” “Oh So You’re Off I See,” “It’s Not That Bad”). Both are eminently appealing.

If you like Interpol, you'll love Kane Strang

It's a fun poppy version of Interpol mode, but it's a bit more rhythmic and funkier than Interpol. A must have record.

Don't listen to the reviewer adriana.cruceta, I read some of her reviews she listen's to Modest Mouse. (blech)
