All of the songs in this album are written quite well. They stand outside of the box of today's popular music and continue to ask it to change for the better. These songs are much like the story of the wise man and the fool at the bus station: "If a wise man and a fool sit and talk at a bus station will the wise man bring the fool up or will the fool bring the wise man down." Confessions of St. Augustine is that wise man and he has not been dragged down by the fools of popular music. Given time and exposure I am certain that the songs of Confessions of St. Augustine will bring the fool of popular music up.
