Stellar Brazilian Strings

Featuring what is my favorite version of Um a Zero, this work is a great place to start with these exciting Brazilian players. Pereira on guitar and de Holanda on mandolin provide excellent interplay and serious Brazilian, and occasionally, jazzy grooves.

(I'm not sure why "Susan Werner" is named as one of the artists when the album cover clearly shows "Marcos Pereira & Hamilton de Holanda. Anyway, an excellent album.)
