Sometimes contentment isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. "If you wanna live a comfortable life/Make sure you never love nobody/Be selfish and never sacrifice,” raps Andy Mineo on “Uncomfortable.” His message is about putting in the work—for God, for your loved ones, and for yourself—and he spits with fiery conviction on these motivational jams. The production’s pretty slick too. “Now I Know” is an empowering personal growth tune that’s slathered in funky piano, while the MC rides a killer guitar riff and drum break for some extra punch on “Desperados.”

I am so excited for this album! Cannot wait for September 18th!! Andy Mineo is such an underrated artist. He is so talented but is known by so few. The best part is...he doesn't even care. He is trying to focus on pleasing God and doing ministry rather than trying to impress other people. That's what makes him one of the best rappers out there.

I swear as soon as I copped 'uncomfortable' I instantly started throwing down gnarly dunks. That song will make you become Jordan's predecessor fam. Move over riff raff because Andy is tip toeing to the top. This album boutta create and then end world war 3 it's so fuego fam. If this album don't make you wanna be the next MJ then you need to go listen to some meek mill......smh fam 🔥🔥🔥

Raised in Syracuse, Mineo began rapping and producing albums in his home studio while still in high school. Originally going by the stage name of C-Lite, Mineo was signed to Syracuse University's Marshall Street Records and opened for such acts as the Roots and Common. While in college, Mineo reconnected with his faith via a meeting with producer Alex Medina and the urban evangelism project T.R.U.C.E....
