Vastly underrated band

Not sure what happened to these guys, exactly, but I saw them open for The Cult in Boston a number of years ago. They mopped the stage with them and were truly a hard act to follow. Blood, sweat, and pure guts from the first note that night. Very, very good hard rock band. Gibson > Marshall > kick arse.

New American Shame was put together in Seattle by founder/guitarist Jimmy Paulson (who had previously worked with the Lemons) and vocalist Johnny Reidt (often credited as the one-named Johnny) in 1998.
