Greatest Hits Red Hot Chili Peppers

EDITORS’ NOTES
A sequel to the earlier What Hits!? compilation, Greatest Hits rounds up the bulk of the Chili Peppers' singles between 1989 and 2003. Funk metal doesn’t get any more awesome than “Give It Away” and “Suck My Kiss,” both of which grind and gyrate with outrageously lascivious energy, while the acoustic "Road Trippin'" shows the band’s sensitive side. The set also contains several previously unreleased cuts, such as "Save the Population," which boasts hypnotic fretwork from John Frusciante and evinces the band’s apparently bottomless well of A-plus material.
