Album Review

Black and White is the second album from Wretch 32. Having been nominated as part of the BBC’s Sound of 2011 poll in December 2010, the London-born MC scored his first U.K. Top Ten single with “Traktor” (featuring L). The standout lyrical talent and chaotic grime beat displayed on “Traktor” were soon followed into the Top Ten by the feel-good “Unorthodox” (featuring Example), which sampled Stone Roses’ “Fools Gold.”

You better jump on this like now!

I'm not even a hip hop head and I can tell this is some good ish. Wretch 32 has got a dope grimey style and rhymes I can listen to over and over again. Throw in a strong pop sensibility and you can tell this is something special. Favorites are "Traktor," "Please Don't Let Me Go" and "Forgiveness." Seems he's already big across the pond, let's get Wretch 32 the recognition he deserves here in the states.

This is some good sh!t

I've been waiting for this album to come to the U.S.
