Great album, songs with feeling

Describing Steve Brosky as Allentown's Bruce Springsteen might be a little bit of a stretch, but he's close. He plays local bars more than weekly, mostly covering rock songs. His originals are really a gem though. Forget his famous "Hey now", this album carries a bit more weight. The album opens with "Unusal and Cruel", which has good sound and a protest message. Other highlights are "Hank", a fun song about a drunk; "The Chicks Had It Right", another anti war song; and "Turn Off the Sun" an acoustic song with great sound. Not quite The Boss, more of a union working man.
