Album Review

Unwritten Law's first album for Interscope Records finds the group toughening up their sound, turning down their pop influences in favor of raw guitars and a weird neo-mysticism. That combination helps distinguish Unwritten Law from their contemporaries, and while they sometimes get mired in their own ambitions, they still have made a record that's better than many retro-punk albums of the late '90s.

10 years later? Crap I am old. Their best CD hands down.

One of the best punk rock CDs I own

Having been a big fan of Elva (another fantastic album of theirs), and also not liking Here's To The Mourning, I decided to purchase their self-titled album. Worth every penny. This album is one of the best punk rock CDs I ever bought, and I own a lot of them. The music is very fast, full of energy and full of life, and every second Unwritten Law utilizes is not a second wasted.
