Boxcar's Best Album

This is by far the San Antonio trio's best album yet. "Shoot Down the Sun" and "Traveling Man" are evil rockers. "Drunk on the Blood of the Lamb" is the sweetest gospel song I've heard in a long time. The classic blues number "How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times and Live?" has rarely been done better and is as relevant today as it was 70 years ago. "I Got Back" is fast and furious and has become a staple of their live shows. "Shadow" and "Silent and Automatic" have a great film noir feel. They even go a little free jazz on "Osaka Touch Bar". You can't go wrong with this record.
