iTunes Review

The London singer’s seventh solo album reflects a new life phase. Coming five years after her last release, Stages, a playful collection that featured fellow ex-Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Version of Me makes it clear that Melanie C is moving on. She balances pop ballads (“Version of Me,” “Dear Life”) that tackle heavy topics like identity and motherhood with adventurous numbers like “Numb,” a bouncy house track with production from Sons of Sonix (Stormzy, Ariana Grande) that feels fresh enough for the UK club circuit.

Simply stunning!

While admittedly, I'm biased in my opinions, Melanie has surprised me and surpased my expectations again! Anymore is just the dance anthem I needed to end my summer with. Dear Life is poetic and haunting. Unraveling is enchanting (and hitting a little too close to home). Overall this is a banger of an album and ranks right up there with Northern Star and The Sea as my favorite Melanie C album.

🙌🏻

She gets better with age.

Melanie is back!

I can't wait to listen to the whole album. "Anymore" and "Numb" have been blasting in my car and have quickly become my number ones!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Melanie never disappoints.
