iTunes Review

In 2006, Don Omar appointed himself reggaetón’s reigning “King of Kings” and has backed up the boast with revolutionary videos, stadium shows, and a larger-than-life persona. In 2009, Omar elevates himself beyond mere royalty; welcome to the iDon era. Omar addresses the minions with trademark fury, as if gazing beyond the dance floor and aiming for the world’s biggest stage. “Chosen One” is Omar on performance-enhancing technology, employing electro touches to his arsenal. “Virtual Diva” is a crossover smash hit, stepping outside reggaetón’s confines and into pop. iDon is Omar’s most ambitious argument that he wants to be more than the leader at Urban Latino radio. He wants it all — reggaetón, dance, hip-hop, pop — and he wants it now.

La Verdadera Revolución.

iDon es la verdadera revolución, este disco no es reggaeton. Yo soy un fan de MUSICA, ay mucha gente ignorante que no le gusta este cd solo porque no es reggaeton. Don Omar took us to the future in this cd, he changed his style and created a revolution, all the songs are good, the music is the thing that makes them out of this world.

Well lets see......this cd features 11 super electronic futuristic songs wich are very diffrent from the other songs unlike most reggaeton artist wich have the same flow and the same thing like wisin y yandel for example.....2nd of all each song is worth it including the digital booklet.....this cd featured only 11 songs wich is a little low for don but that doesnt keep you from enjoying idon like these other porks in here wich are crying cause Don didnt give them what they wanted...Don Omar si revoluciono el genero (unlike wisin y yandel) this cd's same should have been named La Revolucion.....this cd was worth the money

Desilucion total!

Sus mejores canciones quedaron en el pasado,el tratar de "evolucionar el genero" lo esta llevando por el camino equivocado y salvo un par de canciones el resto del album es un total desastre! Sorry Don Omar yo creo k el Rey ha muerto!

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

Don Omar became one of reggaeton's first international superstars, thanks to his early-2000s work with Luny Tunes, but even more so to "Reggaeton Latino," his 2005 anthem that became one of the style's first genuine crossover hits. Born William Omar Landrón on February 10, 1978, in Villa Palmeras, Puerto Rico, Omar involved himself in the church at a young age. He became a preacher; in fact, and it was in this role that he began honing his performance ability as well as his deep insight into the...
