Not the Strokes...

but I'll take it...

Great follow-up album

Tyranny was a very interesting experience and it grew on me over the time I spent listening to it. Virtue is a great second album, so many unique sounds and deep/dark lyrics from certain tracks that matched the first album. I feel Virtue is more polished than Tyranny. Favorite tracks are Pyramid of Bones, Permanent H.S., My friend the Walls, Lazy Boy, Pink Ocean, and of course Aliennation.

So far so good

I really love: Leave it in my dreams! More like that song please!
I heard Wink from a show in Brazil and it also sounds amazing, too bad I won’t be able to listen to it as much, since I have young kids.

About The Voidz

A freewheeling band fusing indie, hard rock, electronic, and pop sounds, the Voidz feature guitarists Amir Yaghmai and Beardo, singer/multi-instrumentalist Julian Casablancas, keyboardist Jeff Kite, bassist/keyboardist Jake Bercovici, and drummer Alex Carapetis. Kite and Carapetis were members of Casablancas' backing band during the tour for his 2009 solo album, Phrazes for the Young. In 2011, Bercovici, Carapetis, and Kite also worked with the Strokes frontman on "I Like the Night," a song he wrote for the French fashion label Azzaro. Casablancas liked the chemistry he had with these musicians, and mutual friends Beardo and Yaghmai soon joined the group. Initially called Julian Casablancas + the Voidz, the band released its debut album, Tyranny, on Casablancas' Cult Records label in 2014. Three years later, they moved to RCA and renamed themselves the Voidz. The group's second album, Virtue, featured production by Shawn Everett and arrived in March 2018. ~ Heather Phares
