Customer Reviews

Exactly what you are hoping for.

If you're a fan of Super Secret, this album is much in the same vein. There are a few short funny songs, a few mid-length songs that show off their skills at rhyming and geeking, and a few longer ballads where they can explore the some of the deeper aspects of the nerd genre.
I especially love the song Suprema Lex, a ballad by Lex Luthor directed (one assumes) at SUperman. They really distill all the various iterations of the character into a cohesive whole that humanizes Luthor in a way that even the DC approved stuff sometimes misses.
Best of all, if you're a fan of the song SUper Powers like I am, they have a great companion song in Mwahaha, a villainous threat version.

more fun from the Mok...

It's been a long time since Oh Okay La, and Rand and Adam still have their filk chops going strong. There's some songs based on Marvel comics, some based on DC (including a powerful ballad about Superman from Lex Luthor's perspective), a Star Wars song and one featuring almost every villain *ever*. Give it a listen, come to the dark side. No promise about cookies, though.
