About Lisa Haley

Lisa Haley is a fourth-generation fiddler who has studied under masters of the "Cajun Way," Queen Ida, Joe Simien, and Canray Fontenot. She is looking to bring Cajun/Zydeco music into the 21st century, with the traditional and original music that only Lisa Haley & the Zydekats can make.

Haley's list of credits is extensive, having recorded with top groups like John Hyatt, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dramarama, and Zydeco Party Band, to name a few. She has also performed with Randy Newman, Lyle Lovett, and Queen Ida.

She can be heard playing her fiddle all over the soundtrack of The Waterboy. She has been on the Tonight Show, Good Morning America, the Family Channel, and European TV Shows. He has also made appearances on The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and Good Morning America. Jim Hanson, on bass and vocals, has recorded with Carlene Carter, Bruce Springsteen, Rosanne Cash, and Rodney Crowell.
