Customer Reviews

A really nice album!

The cover artwork is cool. Okay, with that shallow observation out of the way, I'd like to mention that this album is a very fine addition to the trove of punk that is in the vein of The Lawrence Arms, American Steel, Banner Pilot, Off With Their Heads, Nothington, and The Arrivals, among others (including some stuff by The Briggs). I don't think this punk subgenre has a name, but it's a great style with its own characteristics, including often gravelly/raspy vocals, a consistently solid driving energy, and a feeling of sincerity that comes from the gut. I think this subgenre has really come into its own in the past several years. Also, I think this album could use a little more energy in spots, but, anyway, I'm definitely enjoying it.

Sweet Music

Alright, Take a listen to pop-punk at it's nitty-gritty best. It only gets better and better with these guys and that is a good way to go. Simplistic song writing and universal melodies will soon pay off for this quartet from Orlando. Buy it and like it!

Prettttty cool

For the record, DGD, If you're looking for a name for it, I call it chicago punk because most of these bands come out of Chicago. anyways.... lots of good songs. but yeah, no originality here. I'd reccomend the falcon if you like this band.the singer sounds ALOT like this one. best songs on this cd are unemployed, mine, she, and line up.
