Notas editoriales de iTunes

The third and final Joe Perry Project album features a completely new band. Despite the artistic success of I've Got the Rock 'n' Rolls Again, Perry then hooked up with a third lead singer, Cowboy Mach Bell, and a new rhythm section. Bell's vocals are better suited for arenas, and the band is clearly trying to strike the balance between funky blues and a good-time rock 'n' roll vibe. The cover of T. Rex's "Bang a Gong" suggests it was trying to glam things up, and on several cuts the writing is up to the standards of the playing. "Black Velvet Pants" and "Walk with Me Sally" sound like bar-band romps worthy of The Georgia Satellites. Intriguingly, "Women in Chains" sounds like Johnny Thunders in search of The Rolling Stones. "4 Guns West," "Crossfire," and "Never Wanna Stop" showcase the band's funky side. The band chemistry isn't quite up to the energy level of the first two albums, but that's partly due to thinner production. However, Perry fanatics will find a few choice moments.

Didn't work

I'm a huge Joe Perry fan and this album is full of great guitar licks and catchy melodies. The song writing isnt bad either. Of course i wasn't expecting Aerosmith or Steven Tyler I was however very dissapointed with the rythym section which once again shows why aerosmith is so successful. You cant say enough about good chemistry. Having said that I think it's worth a listen.

Pretty Good

this is the last joe perry project album. Its not bad The best songs on here are once a rocker, Black Velvet Pants, and Walk with Me Sally.

Really bad, lost without Charlie

He should have stuck with the band he had on I've Got The Rock N Rolls Again. This was a terrible misfire. The only good that come out of it is that he jumped back into Aerosmith soon after this. A real shame he didn't make another one like I've Got The Rock N Rolls Again, which is a masterpiece. Let The Music Do The Talking is good too (great cover).
