Page and Plant: The Fathers of Heavy Metal

This album gets almost as many spins as Dean Jay L.P. in my house. Page and Plant rule rock 'n' roll.

Needs some clean up….

The songs are all over the place, and most don't quite hit the mark. Page seems to be pulling out his guitar encyclopedia, injecting interesting tidbits here and there, but too much of his playing here is merely okay and not memorable. Plant seems to be saving up his voice for ?? He seems to be avoiding specific tonal ranges, and it shows. At worst, his voice can be somewhat irritating on songs, and he tries to "oh yeah" his way through in a whiney off tune kind a way.. i see why this work doesn't bolt to the LZeps fans favorites.

Very underrated

This album does not deserve all the bad rep it gets. It sounds great, the songs are incredible, and it's all in all a very great album. Don't listen to the negative reviews

Page also lent a...
