Prog Heads Rejoice

If the Beatles ever went prog, this is what they would sound like. Beautiful melodies, excellent playing, tight harmonies and very good production. The Beard was so good back in the day. Nobody even came close. Check this cd out. It is well worth your time and $$

Solid

Out of the three albums i own by the beard this is the best. It is clearly head and shoulders over their first album ( which was very characteristic of a debut) and much more consistent than V. While nothing nearly maches The Great Nothing from V almost every single song on the album is very good. i can't sum it up any better than to say it is a solid second effort. Any prog fan (specifically neo-prog) should give this a listen. Genesis and Yes fans will love it.

Solid 2nd Effort

Not a sophmore jinx at all. Beard takes a huge step forward as far as quality in their music. The Doorway is THE example of modern prog rock, catchy hooks and great melodies. Walking on the Windis right behind the Doorway. Thoughts is a nod to the Gentle Giant sound. Waste Away is a staple still today. For the epic side, Time has Come is far better the previous albums Water and Light. Great starting point for a new listener to the Beard.
