Foxy's Still Rad

As a glimpse of the future that it brings us, we are introduced to a slightly newer version of Foxy than the previous album release, Introducing. This band has progressed from indie and slightly screamo to a wonderful hit maker that can empower you to do anything at all. Yes, this is a two track single, and yes, both songs are absolute hits. In comparison, these singles remind you of the same drive they had on introducing with even more original ideas. Both the lyrics of bye bye symphone and Wanna-be Angel have the bands slightly comical sense, and yet still try to make a point get across. If the thirty second clip doesn't convince you to buy this single, that's fine, just wait to buy both songs when the next album comes out, it's only a little bit away. Foxy still has it's original rock and it's original drive, with just as many catchy choruses and phrases that stick in your head, and even more outrageous ideas and musical content. Eric Nally has one of the most soul-filled voices that Indie Rock or Rock as a whole has to offer, and with Sky backing him up on keybaords and the entire band following these two, it truly is heart moving soul, rock, and every other empowering genre you can think of. A must have, or wait for the album!

I agree that if this is a sign of what's to come from Foxy, I can't wait. Both of these songs are amazing. The 30 sec clip of Bye Bye Symphony does not do it justice in my opinion. His singing ability really comes through in both of these songs. And it's not studio editing. I've seen them live and they performed both of these, and yes, he can sing. You can be sure that your not listening to some guy that spent a lot of time in the studio autotuning his vocals. Both of these songs have a very BIG sound. They're great. Definitely go see them live.

Lookin' Good

This glimpse into Foxy's Future is extremely promising, a great taste of whats to come. Definitly consider checking these tunes out. Foxy Fans are sure to like what they hear.

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Foxy Shazam's music is an unhinged, maniacal mix of piano, guitar, howling vocals, double-kickdrum percussion, and rock & roll theatrics. The quintet hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, where bandmates Eric Nally (vocals), Loren Turner (guitar), Daisy (bass), Sky White (piano), and Joe Halberstadt (drums) first joined forces in 2004. Recording sessions for The Flamingo Trigger began that year and stretched into early 2005, and Foxy Shazam supported the album's June release with a series of headlining...
