But where are the rest?!?!?!?!

Although I LOVE this album, I am curious as to why this is the only album on the site. They have several more. That is not to mention that they also have several more videos that are must to see. If you (anyone reading this that is) ever have a chance, do try to find the other albums. They got more experimental and funkier as time went on. The "Girls" a far more talented then most and deserve to be better featured on this site!!!!!

stands the test of time...

this is definitely one of those rare gems that people even from urban backgrounds would enjoy. i attended a historically black college in the late 80's to early 90's when hip-hop and new jack swing ruled the earth. two albums every brother and sister had by white artists were Swingout Sister's "It's Better To Travel" and this one...

My 1st CD

This was the very 1st CD I ever purchased. I'm a huge fan of theirs so to show my support, I purchased the digital copy here. Still love the sound but there's just one question. Where are "Fruit At The Bottom", "Eroica" & the latest "Girl Bros" albums by this dynamic duo? Having cravings here. Can ya help us out?

When Prince broke up the Revolution in 1986, guitarist Wendy Melvoin and keyboardist Lisa Coleman, friends since childhood, decided to team up for a new musical project. The two had grown up together in Los Angeles, where both of their fathers were session musicians and encouraged their musical development from a young age. Coleman joined the Revolution in 1979 for Dirty Mind, and Melvoin signed on in 1984; in addition to their instrumental skills, the two also provided some of Prince's arrangements....
