Another Step In The Right Direction

Every album that Opeth releases seems to top the previous one. Mikael really wrote another masterpiece, mixing the classic Opeth sound with some new elements such as blast beats. Over all (even with the slight lineup changes) Watershed is a true masterpiece of progressive death metal... there's nothing like it... so don't look anywhere else!

¡viva opeth!

Opeth is pretty much the greatest band ever. Even with the change in the lineup with the Martin Lopez and Peter Lindgren leaving, they are still awesome. The traks on this Opeth album sound especially dark and evil, which is a good thing. As usual, Opeth combines beautiful mellow passages with brutal death moments. If you don't own any Opeth, you should definately buy all the CDs. Once you start listenning to them, everybody else will seem so bad in comparison (at least that's how it was for me). This is a sacred work of death metal and everybody should honor the mighty gods of music-!!!!!!OPETH!!!!!

Definitely necessary for an Opeth fan.

Impressed by their originality, Candlelight Records released their debut full-length in 1995, which was titled Orchid, and featured a rhythm...
