I Love Platten, but...

Disclaimer, I have not purchased this album, just listened to the previews. With the exception of 'Grace' and maybe a few others, unfortunately, it seems Rachel Platten seems to have fallen into the trap of going with the flow (that current, heavy synth, often sidechained sound of 2017). While this might work for T Swift who can sell just about anything (and perhaps it will work out for Platten too), I miss the old Platten with the heavy, nuanced piano and emphasis on stories. I still love Rachel, just I'm not a huge of a fan of this latest album.

Disappointed!!!

Very disappointed that Rachel has to follow a lot of the other singers (Demi and Selena mainly). My family and I loved her first album. All my kids could listen to it and not worry about foul language (Shivers) and such. Now Rachel has joined in and I now have to be picky of which songs I will let my kids listen to. Just disappointed.
